Abstract:
The experiment was conducted to examine the effect of PH the development of cucumber for productivity enhancement using various soil pH strengths in the greenhouse facility of School of Agriculture and Agricultural Technology, FUTO in the summer of 2012. Soil pH of 6 and 8 were used to ascertain the effect on flowering in cucumissativus, the experiment was laid out in a complete randomised design with three replications .The results revealed that the soil pH affected the morphological traits of cucumber as well as the floral traits significantly though days to flowering was not significantly influenced.
